Welcome to the fourth installment of Writing Wednesday! This is a new weekly feature at Cask & Quill where we will be trying out writing prompts, sharing our experiences and helping to inspire and encourage each other. All experience levels welcome! To learn more, see the introductory post here.
This should be another fun, quick one. Let’s try making a story in just six words. I’ll give you a prompt and you create a story out of whatever comes to your mind out of it.
Write a story in six words using the word impatience as a prompt.
“Impatience” does not need to be one of your six words, but it can if you choose. Whatever “impatience” inspires in you is what you should write. Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect! In fact it can be shit. 🙂 It just has to evoke something real.
Write or copy your story into the comment box below so we can be inspired by you! Take your story to Instagram! Pair a photo with what you’ve written and share it using #QuillClub. Please tag me @caskandquill if you like!
If you’re not feeling up to sharing what you’ve written, that’s okay! You can still participate by checking in with a comment or sharing an IG photo of your notebook or something. Let us know how it went or what you learned from this week’s exercise!
