Booktube-a-Thon 2017 TBR list

As some of you may know, I decided recently to start a Booktube channel over on YouTube! It’s very new and I’m just getting the hang of things, but I happened to join just in time for Booktube-a-Thon 2017! This is an event created by Ariel Bisset for readers all over the world to read as much as they can together for one week. This year the challenge will be taking place

Check out an overview of what Booktube-a-Thon is at this video! And you can find the Booktube-a-Thon reading challenges at this video. You can participate on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter, as there will be events going on across all of those platforms the whole week.

This is my first time participating in Booktube-a-Thon and I’d love to share my TBR with you so that you can see what I’m planning to read over this special week. You can follow along with my progress on Twitter and Instagram. I also have a video up on my YouTube channel detailing the choices I’ve made for my TBR.

This year’s Booktube-a-Thon reading challenges are as follows:

My Booktube-a-Thon 2017 TBR List:

  1. The Hate U Give, by Angie Thomas
  2. The Saga of the Swamp Thing, vol. 2, by Alan Moore
  3. The Saga of the Swamp Thing, vol. 3, by Alan Moore
  4. Lumberjanes, by  Noelle Stevenson, Grace Ellis, Shannon Watters, Brooke A. Allen
  5. Short Stories From Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies, by J.K. Rowling
  6. Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare
  7. Ms. Marvel, by G. Willow Wilson

So that’s my list! Hopefully I’m able to finish all seven of these books during the next week. I purposely chose mostly shorter reads to try to cram as many in as I could. I also thought this would be a great time to pack in some graphic novels as those often go quickly and I’ve been really in the mood for them as well!

Have you participated in a read-a-thon before? Booktube-a-Thon? Do you plan to join in this year? Let me know below what you’ll be reading this week!

Anna
